Recumbent seat covers are 'soft-goods'. Tires, tubes, grips, and about anything else not made of metal are also soft-goods. Metal parts, like the bike frame, seat frame, levers, wheels, etc. are hard-goods, which may last decades. However soft-goods will need to be replaced much sooner. Most replacement soft-goods are readily available. But unlike conventional bikes, recumbent seats are specific to the brand and model. When a manufacturer ceases production finding a replacement seat cover was often impossible and keeping many good recumbents from use. So in 2019 I started RSF (Recumbent Seat Fix) to supply riders with new seat covers and get their bikes/trikes back on the road.

An RSF seat is not just a replacement, but an upgrade. Each seat is individually designed for ease of installation, to provide enhanced comfort and address drawbacks with the original. Seats are then produced with premium materials.
